Engineering represents the core of CITAL’s approach. Thanks to a highly specialized in-house technical office, we develop tailor-made design solutions according to the main international codes (EN13445, ASME, PED, API, AD2000, etc.). Each plant is designed to perfectly integrate with the client’s production needs, ensuring efficiency, safety, and durability.

We handle basic and detailed engineering, 3D modeling, structural calculations, and load analysis. Our deep knowledge of materials, processes, and regulations allows us to offer comprehensive support, from the initial idea to the detailed execution, even in complex environments or retrofits. Our engineering is synonymous with design reliability and long-term industrial vision.

CITAL employs advanced 3D modeling technologies to optimize every phase of design and production. All our plants and equipment are designed in three dimensions, offering a precise and complete view of geometries, spaces, and connections. This approach not only prevents interferences in existing layouts but also improves production efficiency and simplifies on-site assembly.

3D modeling is a strategic tool to ensure quality, reduce time, and control costs. Each project can be integrated into BIM environments or compatible with complex plant design systems, facilitating communication between technical teams and the client.

The 3D Laser Scan service offered by CITAL allows for ultra-precise surveys of existing plants, production environments, and industrial structures. Using state-of-the-art laser scanners, we generate three-dimensional point clouds that are subsequently integrated into 3D modeling, ensuring perfect overlap between project and reality.

This technology is particularly useful in cases of revamping, expansions, retrofits, or complex installations, where minimizing errors and production downtime is essential. The 3D Laser Scan increases operational safety and optimizes assembly times, providing a solid basis for technical, engineering, and logistical decisions.

In-house fabrication is one of CITAL’s strengths. We manufacture custom plants and equipment using certified materials and cutting-edge production technologies. Our workshops, equipped for the construction of tanks, reactors, exchangers, columns, and skids, ensure high-quality control throughout the supply chain.

Each component is welded by qualified personnel and supervised by Welding Engineers, with procedures certified according to ISO, ASME, and PED standards. Structures can be completed in the workshop or pre-assembled for on-site installation. With our production capacity of over 2,000 tons per year, we respond flexibly even to large-scale projects.

CITAL applies a strict quality control policy to every project. Each piece of equipment undergoes thorough testing and inspection, both in the workshop and on-site, to ensure structural reliability, sealing, and compliance with regulations. We conduct hydraulic tests, pneumatic tests, pressure tests, non-destructive testing (NDT) certified according to ISO 9712 and supervised by third-party organizations such as RINA, TUV SUD, SGS.

The entire process is tracked and documented to ensure maximum transparency to the client. The testing phase is an integral part of our quality culture, which places safety and performance at the center of industrial production.

Installation is carried out by highly qualified internal CITAL teams, equipped to operate in complex industrial contexts both in Italy and abroad. We manage the complete assembly of equipment, piping, structures, and modular plants directly on-site, also in synergy with other contractors.

We have lifting equipment, automatic welders, alignment tools, and certified safety systems. The intervention is coordinated by an expert technical staff that supervises time, cost, quality, and safety. The goal is to ensure efficient, precise installation in full compliance with project specifications and environmental and safety regulations.

The technical supervision service offered by CITAL ensures the correct execution of activities at every stage of the project. Our supervisors coordinate on-site activities, manage interfaces with other contractors, control the quality of assemblies, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Our approach involves continuous control over welding, testing, work progress, and logistics. Thanks to the experience gained in international projects and operational flexibility, CITAL supervision is synonymous with reliability, competence, and attention to detail, contributing to the success of the entire plant.
